Ayana Thomas
"In the beginning, words fail, leaving only pain, shock, tears, and a profound void in the heart. Tears become the constant dialogue of the pain within, consuming every facet—physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional.
Our world is in desperate need of healing. My mission is to assist grieving women in finding a new purpose in life.
Allow me the opportunity to be a guide on your journey towards healing."
I offer support to ALL women, with a specialized focus on those affected by the criminal legal system, navigating trauma and adverse loss.
My mission is to help all women not only process their grief but reimagine life beyond it, knowing that healing and a renewed sense of purpose are within reach. By providing unwavering support to women affected by loss guiding them through this intricate journey.
My vision is to guide women in reconnecting with their inner resilience, helping them rediscover the strength that empowers them to move forward with renewed clarity, hope, and purpose. I do this because I have walked this path myself. I know firsthand the profound impact of having someone by your side who truly understands, enabling women to reclaim hope and embrace the future with courage.
Over 1.2 million women in the United States are incarcerated, on probation, or on parole, facing not only the weight of their circumstances but also a profound and often unrecognized grief. These women carry the burden of multiple losses—of freedom, family, identity, and self-worth—all without the understanding or support to process it. This disenfranchised grief, compounded by the pressures of society's unrealistic expectations, leaves many feeling lost and alone.
That’s where I come in. I help women navigate the uncharted territory of life after loss, guiding them through the storm of grief to rediscover hope and purpose. Together, we face the challenges, the stress, and the unfair assumptions about how grief "should" look or how long it should last. There is no timeline for healing, and no right or wrong way to grieve.
Grief is hard, finding help doesn’t have to be!
